Rhona MacGuire

Communication and Advocacy Advisor

Rhona MacGuire is a Communication and Advocacy Advisor at PSI-Europe, where she leads the global communication and advocacy efforts for the Sang pour Sang program.

Prior to joining PSI-Europe, Rhona worked in both the private and non-for-profit sectors in communication and advocacy. She began her career working for digital communication agencies before moving to international development. Over the past few years, Rhona has primarily worked in global health justice and sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) for the NGOs RNW Media and Wemos. Rhona holds a Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences from Amsterdam University College and a Master’s degree in Art History from the University of Edinburgh.

Since joining PSI-Europe in 2025, Rhona contributes her expertise in communications and advocacy to raise awareness and influence policies and laws in menstrual health and dignity. While also supporting the organization's broader efforts to promote equitable access to health services.
