PSI Europe announces that Managing Director Odette Hekster will leave the organisation in September to take up a new leadership opportunity in a philanthropic organisation.

Odette has served PSI Europe for fourteen years, including six years as Managing Director. During this time, she has helped strengthen the organisation's governance, expand its programme portfolio and build important partnerships across women's health, self-care and market development.

Dr Ebere Okereke, Chair of the PSI Europe Board:

"Odette has made an important and lasting contribution to PSI Europe. She has led the organisation with commitment, sound judgement and a clear focus on the women and communities we serve. She leaves PSI Europe stronger, with a capable team, deeper partnerships and a solid platform for its continued development. On behalf of the Board, I thank Odette for her fourteen years of service and wish her every success in her new role."

The Board has begun the recruitment of a permanent Managing Director. Beth Brogaard, who brings extensive leadership experience from across the PSI network, will serve as Interim Managing Director, providing continuity of leadership and delivery throughout the transition.

We thank our donors, partners and collaborators for their continued trust and support, and we look forward to continuing these valued partnerships as PSI Europe enters its next chapter.
