Emy Yanni

Director of Partnerships Engagement

Emy Yanni is an accomplished global development leader with over 15 years of experience in strategic partnerships, business development, and program implementation across Africa and the MENA region. She holds a Master’s degree in International Cooperation and Humanitarian Aid.

Prior to joining PSI Europe as Director of Partnerships Engagement, Emy held leadership roles at Be Girl Inc., a social enterprise specialising in menstrual health, and other international development organisations, including the European Union Commission and major INGOs. As the Chief Business Officer at Be Girl, she played a key role in expanding Be Girl’s presence across new markets, spearheading strategic partnerships, and ensuring compliance with complex donor requirements.

A passionate advocate for gender equity and women empowerment, Emy has led national curriculum implementation efforts on menstrual health education in Mozambique and Angola—reaching over 500,000 youth—and guided the MENA region’s curriculum contextualization, endorsed by UNFPA Egypt.

Fluent in Arabic, English, and Spanish, with working knowledge of Portuguese and French, Emy thrives in multicultural settings.
