Davey Groothoff

Stakeholder and Donor Engagement Director

Davey Groothoff is the Stakeholder and Donor Engagement Director of PSI-Europe.

He joined PSI-Europe in 2021 and has a background in business development and public health. Davey’s primary role is spearheading PSI-Europe’s effort to mobilize support and funding for the PSI network through shaping policies and priorities of European donors and stakeholders. Davey brings experience with negotiating funding for medical innovations, communicable and non-communicable diseases, supply chain management and the water and sanitation sector and particularly helps PSI-Europe in its engagement with public-private partnerships.

With an MBA in International Health Management (Switzerland) and a Masters in Social- and Cultural Sciences (Netherlands), as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Science (Netherlands). Davey has over twelve years of business development and management consulting experience in both profit and not-for-profit sectors. He has been exposed to different cultures from an early age and has lived in Kenya, Saudi-Arabia and South Africa and worked in several other developing countries.
